Streams are no longer allowed to flow into ponds!

Times have changed.

Potentially harmful runoff is the main reason that streams are no longer allowed to flow into ponds.  They pick up fertilizers and other things especially close to farmland when raining in the spring runoff.

This includes e-coli and coliform therefore it is especially important that the incoming water be treated with a dark blue dye when it gets to the pond. One will have to apply the dye more often due to the water leaving the pond daily.

This fast dispersant dye is inert and is drinkable! It stops the fertilizer from forming algae and weeds.
